JAGDA, in collaboration with the Hiroshima International Cultural Foundation, launched a volunteer project “Hiroshima Appeals” poster campaign in 1983, focusing on the theme “Hiroshima’s Spirit” with the goal of promoting peace at home and abroad. The project, conducted annually through 1989, was reinstated in 2005 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II. This year Kaoru Kasai created the poster for 2013, which is the 16th work of this series.

JAGDAは、（財）広島国際文化財団と共同で、1983年から1989年まで、毎年会員代表1名が「ヒロシマの心」を言葉を超えて訴えるポスター「ヒロシマ・アピールズ」をボランティアで制作し、国内外に向けて平和を希求する活動を行ってまいりました。2005年、広島の被爆60周年を機に活動を再開。この度、2013年版のポスター（シリーズ16作目）を葛西 薫氏（東京）が制作いたしました。
