This is an exhibition catalogue of “Design Leading the Era: Winners of Yusaku Kamekura Design Award” held in the Niigata Prefectural Museum of Modern Art from April to June, 2012. The Yusaku Kamekura Design Award and the Yusaku Kamekura International Design Award were established to honor achivements of the JAGDA's first president, the late Mr. Yusaku Kamekura. This informative archive compiles awarded works between 1999 and 2010 and the recipients’ recent works, as well as four works garnered the Yusaku Kamekura International Design Award.
